I don’t have my first ob appointment for another week and a half so my husband and I decided to go to this private ultrasound place. I thought I would be getting a transvaginal US but they did a trans abdominal. They had a difficult time but were able to find the gestational sac but could not see a yolk sac. I am devastated. This has been the most stressful and emotionally taxing couple of days that I have spent researching blighted ovums. I’m wondering if anyone knows what the chances are that the trans abdominal US just missed picking up the yolk sac on such an early pregnancy..? I’m a little fluffy too. 🥺 praying for good news but preparing for the worst.
