what does he mean by this?

so i’ve know my current partner for a minute now. we were in CDL school together so at that point we’ve known each other for 3 months.. we started texting and one day we became intimate.. I got pregnant the first time we did it.. he is such a sweet person and very consistent. we have talked everyday non stop since we first started texting and i’m now 9 months pregnant we still have not stopped communication he’s very patient and overall a nice guy. so we’ve known each other for pretty much a year now. we live in separate homes and plan to keep it that way for a while. only problem is he’s not helping me get the baby stuff. he keeps saying “don’t worry about it i’m going to get it” i’ve pretty much bought everything and we still need a few other things bc I did not want to have a baby shower. I keep telling him we don’t have much time left and to me it seems as if he’s stalling but he says he’s just a last minute person and i’m absolutely not so it annoys me. I asked him yesterday how did he feel about the situation and he says “I feel like it is what it is” and that made me think that he doesn’t care enough. but why keep communication, why care for me during the pregnancy? maybe i’m over analyzing it but he needs to help me.. idk if last minute is really just his thing or I can’t tell if he’s not happy about this baby.. what do you think he feels?
