Can I get a positive?

My period is due in 5-6 days.. can I get my positive earlier if I am pregnant? 
I think I was fertile around Feb 23-28th. I had unprotected sex during that time.

Answer

A test will be positive within a few days after implantation. If that has happened, you will get a positive test now. But it's also very possible to get a negative 5-6 days before ovulation and still get a positive that cycle. Implantation can happen anywhere from about 8-12 days after ovulation.
