Not excited about announcement

So my husband and I are super excited and had been trying to get pregnant for a few months and now we are 12 weeks along. We wanted to tell his family on New year's when they'll be visiting -but I'm still super anxious from a stressful Christmas at their place last weekend; just unnecessary drama for no good reason - nothing serious just first world problem arguments. It really gets to me because I'm not used to it.

As a result I'm not even excited to announce and left it up to hubby to come up with an idea. I refuse to move my diaper stockpile from the basement so he better tell them soon after they arrive :-P

Trying to perk myself up but can't help thinking that the mentioned first world drama will soon be part of our child's life! :-/
