Ok ladies I had the spectra 2 with my first so I can still use that but has anyone tried any of these pumps? Any recommendations?

I would just do the spectra again. I am not a fan of Medela. The extra parts are stupidly expensive and I just didn’t feel like it worked as well. If you can get the S1 it has a rechargeable battery so you don’t have to be plugged into the wall

Spectra S1 is what I used. It was great. I tried other brands, but spectra was the best for me. I still have mine. With this baby, I got the new medela wearable one (with the cup inserts) to try, through my insurance. It actually seems pretty legit. I’m hoping between the 2, I’ll be able to pump it up.

I had the lansinoh one and it was great suction but it had to be plugged in at all times. It takes batteries but it sucks the life out of the batteries in one session.

I have never had a spectra but i have a Lansinoh and the motif duo, I definitely prefer the Lansinoh, the suction is so much better, it just sucks that you have to use it plugged in. I used my lansinoh to exclusively pump for 7 months for my first, I still had it but got the motif for my second, used it a few times and ended up breaking the Lansinoh back out and getting new parts.

I’ve used an ameda with both pregnancies and love it!!! Same specs as the spectra - but rechargeable and fits in your pocket. I throw it in a cardigan pocket while I’m getting ready for the day. The battery lasts forever!!! I get about a week between charges.

I used Spectra S1 with my first, but I didn’t have that as an option with my new insurance with my second. I ended up getting the Motif Luna because I heard it’s very similar to the Spectra pumps. It actually is really similar, but has less range (less number of strengths, less range of speed). I ended up stop using it and went back to my Spectra. BUT the parts are all interchangeable! So I’m actually using a bunch of the Motif parts still.

Stick with spectra. The the best pump out of all of them. The S1 is a rechargeable battery rather than the S2 plug in.
