did anyone ever go through your parents not liking your significant other? im goin thru it now and its the worst ! i been with my bf for 8 years we have two kids together but now recently him & my father had a huge fight and made it known they wont ever speak again and how my bf is not allowed over at my family house .. it puts me in the middle because im such a daddy girl but then its my child father smh .. my bf always text my dad when me and him argue and he gets disrespectful so this time he told my dad suck his thing smh … they use to get along so well now they wont ever speak and i hate itttt it messes up so much and idk who to choose

Im on your dad's side on this one. Your bf should never involve your family in your fights and be disrespectful, and he actually told your dad to suck him??? How vile. I dont blame them for not liking him one bit. Yes I dealt with my family not initially approving of my husband but my husband would NEVER EVER behave in such a way, and if he did I would kick him to the curb.

My fam always loved my husband but my mother in law didn’t always like me. When we were dating we had a bit of a rough time and she felt like things were moving quickly. Also, we swear we are very different in personality but, as my husband points out often, there are actually a lot of similarities which is why we clash. Things are miles better now and we do love each other although we occasionally still butt heads. My thing is though, it is very odd your boyfriend feels comfortable to involve your dad in your fights/text him about drama. It also seems odd that your boyfriend is okay with flat out disrespecting your dad. I have never been “disrespectful” to my MIL. We’ve had small words, but the times where she’s crossed the line my husband always is the one to address it. 
If my partner was ever disrespectful, like legitimately disrespectful, to my mom, they would regret it. If my mom (who can be annoying also) has done something to offend, it is my job to talk to her. It is never my partners job to scream at, name call, or berate anyone in my family and tbh, if you adore your dad and love him a lot, he’s probably not this like terrible abusive person, so you have to ask yourself why your partner would feel comfortable being so disrespectful to your parents. Your dad may have boundary issues or do other things that makes your partner mad, but a normal person still wouldnt use that as justification to behave that way

What he said to your father is beyond disrespectful, disrespectful and inappropriate.  Of course he shouldn't be allowed back tmat your parents' house!! And  Idc if you had 10 children with him he's a disrespectful ass wipe and he should be walking on very thin ice with you. I would never tolerate anyone saying something misplaced my parents or grandmother.

I have so many questions.
What were they fighting about that caused him to never be allowed in the house again?
What does your dad expect you to do when it's your partner and dad to your children? 
Why the hell does your bf text your dad when you argue? Like who the flying fuck does that and with what fucking purpose other than causing issues?
What a mess. Depending on what the fight was about I would tell them both to grow the fuck up.

Why is he involving your dad when you fight? What are the fights about? You find it acceptable that he talks to your dad that way? I was taught to respect my elders. Gotta change a few things if you want it to work and move forward. Your dad aside i think its a good idea to do therapy
