Anyone else tot not talking yet?

My first had to.have speech therapy. My second had no problem talking and this little monkey will only say dada. Nothing else.

My son just got evaluated for speech therapy, he will only say mamamamama for everything at almost 17 months 😬

My second didn’t say a word until 2 then out of no where started talking so much! 
My first started earlier 
My third, is slower to hit milestones but just recently at 19 months has started to say some actual words ( hello, stop, mom mom, dada, I love you, all done) . But she can fluently ￼have a whole conversation in baby babble. She will even use her hands to talk and wait for a response from you. I see other kids who talk more than her but personally I’m not worried, she’s very social and like I said has had her own pace with milestones

I feel like I'm the same boat. My first spoke early on and is a chatter box. My boy will be 18 months this week and barely says much. Mama was first but kinda stopped and only says it here and there. Has maybe 4 words, but not clear or too consistent. We do watch baby shows with sign language, so he does do about 5 signs. He understands everything, just getting it out is really hard. Not sure if it's because the 3 year old interrupts him a lot or if he needs assistance. Our appointment is next week. So we shall see what they say. I don't think he would qualify and if they would even evaluate him any time soon. I think In a few more months he will be talking more, but of course as his appointment gets closer I'm getting more anxious.

My daughter just started talking a lot more since she’s now around kids her age and a little older me and hubby are quiet most of the time maybe get her around some kids or talk more maybe you baby just doesn’t wanna talk yet that’s okay.

My little has no words - just babble. At her 15m appt they told me she needed to have some words by her 
18m appt or we will discuss speech therapy. My SIL is an SLP and has said we’re doing the right things. Most of our friends with kids say they don’t really start talking until closer to 2, so who knows. I think she will just talk when she’s ready? 🤷🏻‍♀️

My child is in the same boat. Only saying mamamama for everything. She will have straight up conversations with you though in her own babble. Had her evaluated and she didn’t qualify since she hit every other mark. Told me to give it till she’s 2 and have her reevaluated if she’s still not talking.

Mine isn't yet, just mama and dada. He has said a few words once so not sure if it was just a fluke. He said moon once reading goodnight moon and no once shaking his head 🤷‍♀️
When do doctors start worrying? They didn't seem worried at his 15 month appointment but we'll see what they say at 18 months. At the end of April.

My little pretty much only Dada. He used to say duck but he doesn’t anymore 🤷🏻‍♀️ On occasion he will say other words but it’s not consistent
