My MIL told my husband that it isn't right that he and I are paying the caterer for our baby shower this weekend. My mother has planned and paid for almost the entire party without so much as a dime coming from his side of the family. My mom was more than willing to make the food on her own but my husband and I want her to enjoy the party SHE planned for her first grandchild. I told my husband that if his mother said anything at the shower I would not bite my tongue again. I honestly just need an outside opinion because my mind is honestly running in a thousand different directions and his parents have also stated that they would not be coming to the hospital once our son was born they would just wait until we brought him to their house. Am I making a bigger deal out of this or would you be upset about this too?
