Gestational diabetes 10 weeks??

So has anyone else in their previous pregnancies been told they have gestation diabetes so early? It’s come as a complete shock really! Just wondering everyone experiences of any!

Yes, they found I had it at 7 weeks from one of the first routine blood tests. I got immediately referred to an endocrinologist and was on a diet and finger pricks the following day. It was a very very long 9 months but …. The good news is absolutely no weight to lose afterwards and I’m enjoying that :D

Is it possible you had preexisting diabetes and didn’t know?
