Needing encouragement!!

Hey everyone,

I’ve been a SAHM for years which perhaps this is weird but it’s always been my dream to be a wife and mother and to homeschool my babies.

I feel so discouraged honestly.

The inflation has hit us so hard that my husband’s income is short by thousands of dollars. We have had massive increases on EVERYTHING. Electric, water, food has tripled in cost, gas is outrageous, diapers have gone up, just everything.

He’s so stressed that he’s shut down and has zero motivation to improve circumstances. He’s like a shell of a person and he has become so depressed that all he does is stare at his phone or TV all evening. He’s stopped being helpful with the kids and house.

I’m starting my business back up again from home but I have no help and I just want to cry.

My littlest is still a baby and she doesn’t sleep well- none of my kids have honestly. She wakes every hour or two to nurse, all night long.

My physical health is suffering, from long term sleep deprivation. My mental/emotional health is terrible. I’m trying to manange homeschooling, being at home and caring for the kids, our animals, cooking, cleaning, dishes, laundry, and now working full time on top of all that and I’m so exhausted. I don’t even know how to move forward at this point. I don’t know what to do.

We can’t afford childcare anyways so my only option is to work from home. Any changes I try to make to our finances in order to ease the $$ burden (like canceling DirecTV because we watch it once a month if that) he says no.

I feel so discouraged. And this isn’t to rag on my husband. He’s not normally like this. It’s because of the difficult circumstances- which are not his fault obviously- and he’s stressed/depressed. I get it.

But I don’t know how to hold it all together. I’m doing everything for everyone, being everything for everyone, and trying to work a full time job on top of that. I feel like I can’t keep going. Someone please encourage me 🫠😭
