How long did it take your body to naturally clear a blighted ovum?

Blighted ovum is when you get pregnant but the baby never forms, only the sac. It’s explained as: there’s errors in the chromosomes in the very early stages right after conception so the process of building a baby never starts. Almost like a safe guard to prevent babies with chromosomal abnormalities. Our bodies are amazing but it’s very hard to go through the experience as it ends in a miscarriage.

I’m currently going through it and my body just started dispelling the materials in my uterus. I want to be able to clear out naturally but am curious how long this process was for other women in the same situation.

From first spotting to the end of menstruation, how long did it take to clear out without taking the pill nor having a D&C? If you could also comment on the pain level in comparison to a regular period and period cramps, that’ll help me know what to expect. I was 8 weeks when u started spotting, how far along were you?

I feel kind of lost in this, your insight is appreciated.
