Is this normal? D&C

Ashley • I`m Ashley. My husband and I have been married for 6 years and together for 9. We have two beautiful girls and an angel.
I apologize if this question is in the wrong group, but I didn't know where else to turn. On 12/17 (10 weeks) we had found out our baby had passed at around 6 weeks. I opted for a D&C on 12/18. Things went very smoothly, very little pain and bleeding, and I began feeling a little better. Since then, today is day 12, I'm still bleeding (red) and having cramps every two days or so (spotting for 2 days, bleeding for a few days, spotting again, and so on). Is that normal? How long will this continue? I'm so drained emotionally and physically. It just won't end. It's almost like my period (cramps and clotting again at this point). I'm so sad and so lost. :/ can anyone share similar experiences, please? Thank you for your help!
*Missed Miscarriage- no indication anything was wrong prior to ultrasound

I had a D&C on the 28th of November . I bleed for almost 3 weeks somedays I had  cramps some days not ,as long as your not soaking 3 pads in an hour it's a normal amount of blood . Of course call your doctor if you are worried but it sounds normal to me

I was 8 weeks. After my D&C i bled for about 2 months, it felt like two months. It was in 2014. The bleeding would slow down, then pick up. I thought I was going to bleed forever. Everyones body is different.

So sorry for your loss. This is exactly my story. Ten weeks today and found out baby passed many weeks ago. Trying to pass it now or get a d&c

Mine was heavy for around 2 weeks. Doctor said as long as I was feeling ok and wasn't feeling hot or dizzy then it was ok. And just to ring if I didn't feel right. Sorry for your loss.

Call your doctor and ask. I had a missed miscarriage and a D&C in late September. I don't recall bleeding or cramping of any sort more than two days past the procedure. I was only 7 weeks pregnant though so perhaps because you were further along that is more normal. Still, ask your doc. I'm so so sorry for your loss :(

The same thing happened to me 😔 9 weeks and I was measuring 6. I had a d&c and bled on and off for 2 weeks. Some days there was spotting and some days it was heavy. I would say don't worry unless you're in a lot of pain. It's normal to bleed for a while. If you're bleeding way too much(going through pads too quickly) double check with your doctor. I'm sorry for your loss 😔

P.s it is super draining physically and emotionally. It does get better!!! I promise. I actually had 2 losses this past summer and I didn't think I would emotionally survive it... But I did and you will too ❤️
