9 weeks 1 day ultrasound

Can't describe how nervous I was going into this ultrasound. We've seen so many previous ones where baby's heart stopped beating around 8 to 9 weeks. Adding to the anxiety, I had red/brown spotting early on and a round of terrible stomach virus where I couldn't drink water for a little over 24hrs, ate very very little the following days and lost 6lbs. Lo and behold, there was a baby, healthy, wiggly and flipping around with a strong heartbeat of 188, measuring 9w1d.

We've had multiple miscarriages back to back and our obgyb started telling me the only viable option might be ivf bcs of my age (I was 37 at the time). Suddenly, in 2020 we got pregnant 1 cycle after yet another loss and had a beautiful baby boy born in 2021, at 38 yo. We definitely surprised our obgyn with this new pregnancy. I'll be 40 when we deliver this second miracle in October. God is good! I may stumble and lose faith but He is always faithful and good! Thank you for your mercy and grace Lord!
