So i have been trying the past few months to get pregnant with my second child. I have been using letrozole with the hcg 10000 injection. This past month I took letrozole and had 3 follicles. 19.5, 16.5, and 20. I then injected myself the next day with the hcg trigger shot. After 3 days of the shot, I have horrible pain in the lower abdominal area and was told that it could have been that I hyper ovulated. I went to the lab today to test my progesterone (day 24 of cycle) and my number was 5.8 nmol. It has never been this low before. I called my doc but he never got back to me. I know that the number has to be at least 10 for me to ovulate. I’m just wondering if anyone has gone through this before and if maybe anyone knows what could have happened. I was really happy to have the 3 follicles and usually I only have one. Any advice is appreciated
