Missed 4 birth control pills?

I missed 4 birth control pills in the third week of my pack. How much will that increase my risk of pregnancy? I started taking them back again on Sunday and on Sunday me and my partner had unprotected sex.

Very much so. That's more than half the week. Perhaps you need a different form of BC such as the implant or something.

You should have used back up. Your risk is high for pregnancy missing that many pills.

Look into iud options. Just don’t do depo. If you ovulate late, then plan b might have been a wise choice just incase. But I think the instructions on mine said if you skip two in a pack then the pack is a wash

I think at that point they tell you to throw away the pack because you’ve missed too many days and it won’t be effective anymore
