So my partner surprised me two weekends ago and wanted me to pick out an engagement ring. We went to Kay’s jewelers first and I found a beautiful one. It wasn’t too much yet not to little. It had like colors in the middle that in the light it just shined. He loved it and I did also. We paid and they got it sent for sizing. We just got the call to pick up today and let’s just say he came home shaking. About to break into tears. So upset, the ring looked NOTHING like the one in the store, the diamond in the middle is really what I’m talking about. The clarity in the store was literally so perfect. Like perfect clarity. The SAME ONE we ordered looks literally fake. It does not even look legit and for the price he paid reallt just upset him, it almost was like scammy. And to add the shine and colorful sparkles not even there!!!!

So he called the store with the guy who sold us it, and he said it was perfect when he sent it out doesn’t know why we don’t like it just seemed very off. My partner is returning it and looking elsewhere. So my question is, where is the best store to buy an engagement ring at?!

I don’t trust that store anymore, the ring was suppose to come with a box to put the ring in and it didn’t, he just threw it in a baggy. Just totally awful experience
