15w4d- first prenatal appointment 😍

After the tumultuous process of finding a provider that aligns with my needs, and being told they were full to being told they had an opening 🙌🏻

We FINALLY had our first midwife appointment today! It took 5 tries to draw enough blood for all the prenatal labs 😬 the midwife came in and finally got them after the nurse had such a hard time 😅

But I can’t complain! I’m so grateful! Everything looks good so far and we got to see our first little sneak peek of babe’s sweet, perfect, round little head! She wanted to measure the femur, too, but the little cutie wouldn’t be still (my kids don’t appreciate being probed like little aliens 🥰) Measuring right on track at about 16 weeks and at our next appointment, we’ll have our anatomy scan!
