Let me preface this by saying I am a high school teacher in an urban area.

Long story short one of my students who is 18 was kicked out of her house for being pregnant, and is genuinely a very good kid with very unsupportive parents. While we as a school have/are connecting her to resources, a few members mentioned if I shared a registry they would be willing to make donations. I had to make one because no one is throwing her a shower (friends or family). If you find it in your hearts to donate anything, it will make a huge difference in this your woman’s life.
