Hi! I need help renovating my bfs backyard! Pics below (home stylists plz help lol)

This is what the backyard looks like. As you can see there are rocks and weeds growing. I think he should put grass and it would be a nice green contrast in the back. He says he sucks at taking care of plants so he hasnt. But he does have plans in the future to “maybe” but grass and a gazebo in the back right corner.

I do live here. Hes gone on a trip for a few weeks and gave me permission to add something to the backyard! Im thinking seating! As you can see we only have those few chairs and a tiny cheap firepit. When we have friends over theres no where to sit outside. I was thinking of getting something like this ⬇️⬇️

I think its beautiful! Nice seating for guests and family since he had family over often. Nice seating to sit out and watch kids playing and it comes with a fancy fireplace. Im just not sure where to put it!! I can either out it under the cover in front of the sliding door here, or in the sun in the corner. What do you ladies think?!?!
