Gallbladder attack?

27 weeks and 5 days. And all of a sudden tonight I’m having strong pain right under my rib cage. I’ve had this kind of pain before and it was a stomach ulcer, but it feels a bit different. I know at this point if it is my gallbladder there’s nothing they can do surgically, but how can I control it?

I have the same pain but turns out my baby is breech and her head is right there in that spot causing all the pain and discomfort!

Is your blood pressure okay? Sometimes right side flank pain can be a sign of preeclampsia. Might be worth a phone call to your OB! I hope it’s nothing serious ❤️

I was sent the Emergency department by my OB office when i was 11 weeks along (im going on 30 now). They thought i was having gallbladder issues. Turned out i had swollen right kidney due to stones. Might be worth gettingan ultrasoundof gallbladderand kidney to see whats causing your pain.

Hopefully its not your gallbladder ! I just went through covid & i was having bad sharp pains. The doctor told me they think it was GERD. Best would be to speak to your OB about it so they can investigate!

Urgh you poor thing. Did you know what you ate beforehand? They can do a scan to see if it is gallstones or just an infected gallbladder in which you could have antibiotics (if they were pregnancy safe). As far as attacks are concerned there’s no definite thing you can do that’s 100% but lay off high fat foods (mine was high fat dairy like cream and some oils they use to fry foods). If you know what definitely causes them you can avoid those foods but sometimes they can just happen which is cruel I know. I stuck to plenty of water and low fat/low sugar foods. I was diagnosed before pregnancy and then attacks got worse after I had him so I had my gallbladder out and now pregnant again 😂
