Miscarriage #2
My hubby is so amazing, he surprised me with a 3D/4D ultrasound for Christmas so we could find out what our little baby would look like and find out the gender. I would have been 16 weeks 3 days today.
Our appointment was yesterday evening after our regular prenatal appointment. That's when things went totally wrong.
They told me there was no heartbeat on the ultrasound even though the Doppler picked up a 166 heartbeat.
After a trip to the ER for a second opinion, we succumbed to the horrifying news that we had lost our second baby, the first we lost at 7 weeks in the beginning of the year.
At this point I feel like a complete failure and like my whole world is crashing down around me.
I'm in the process of trying to schedule a D and E and start the healing process.
I would not wish this pain on any woman.
