Can someone who had postpartum hypertension/pre-eclampsia ease my mind please?

My whole pregnancy was great. Normal BP and everything. I went to my weekly NST and all of a sudden I had a BP of 167/101 and it continued to be high, leading to an "induction". I put that in quotations because I was already having contractions on my own and didn't end up needing pitocin, just the pill they put in your cervix. Ever since birth, I've been struggling with high blood pressure and it SUCKS. It really triggers my anxiety as well which makes it worse. I'm so scared it's going to kill me and I'm gonna leave behind my 2 kids. Anyone have PP hypertension and are doing well or it eventually went away? I'm 1 week postpartum
