Hey ladies I’m sure it has been asked constantly but know everyone’s story is different.

So we got pregnant just before Christmas 2022 was so excited but sadly Thursday 12th January this year we went to a early scan and found out we were having a live ectopic. Rushed to hospital for emergency surgery. While we had the scan it was found I had released two eggs at different times approx 2 weeks between and both eggs had been caught so even though they weren’t we were unknowingly pregnant with twins 🥰. There was a baby in the womb (the smaller one) and one in my right tube (or so they thought?) when they opened me up it seems I had ruptured just before the surgery (was half a pint of blood in my stomach. They found the ectopic on the lining of my stomach and not my tube but my right tube was mangled and my left was the one that had ruptured 🥺 the consultant removed the baby and my right tube and managed to save my left tube without disturbing the baby in the womb. Sadly 4 days after surgery I miscarried the 2nd baby equalling in this being called a hetroectopic (never heard of it until this happened) while under the surgeon also took biopsies of things found and was told I had endometriosis I never knew this as had a healthy pregnancy 20 years ago and another 2022.

Can I ask how long it took for people to get pregnant after a ectopic my consultant explained that even if I ovulate from the right ovary my left may be able to grab it but understand that my left tube may be damaged also? I haven’t met or spoken with anyone who has gone through this as of yet and looking for positive outcomes we are trying again and doing everything possible tracking and having sex at the right time but I know as each month goes by I’m going to find it harder 😢
