I had a child with a guy (John) who has not been present at all. He has not even meet her. (Not because of me) My daughter is currently 3.

I now know he has another daughter who's around 7-8 years old with another women (Vane). He coparents I believe but not very much involved.

Vane is now married and has kids with her actual partner.

John and his family have never reached out to meet my daughter. They all know about my daughter but decided not to get involved.

Should I reach out to Vane and let her know that her daughter has a half sister? Is that weird? Or what should I do?

My heart aches for my daughter tbh.
