I had my first ultrasound today to date how far along our baby is and it did not go as we had hoped. My doctor had put me at about 8 weeks and the ultrasound is at least 2 weeks behind that. The baby is not measuring the size it should be and they can’t yet see the heartbeat. I have had this once before and the pregnancy didn’t last. They have asked for me to come back in 11 days and they will see if there is any growth, if I don’t miscarry before then. Please, has anyone had this happen? Have you gone back and everything is perfectly fine? With our son my ultrasound always measured the correct date, I’m so worried this time, I can’t go through the heartache we went through before.
