Thought on alcohol before BFP?

I'm 8dpo and just got a BFN, I know this is still very early. We are having a party tonight and a wedding tomorrow so would normally have a few glasses of wine (2-3max) what's everyone's thoughts on whether this can cause any problems?? I've read really conflicting information.

Don't live your life for the baby that you do not have yet, you may not be pregnant at all which means you are living like you are and that negative will sting more.

If you are pregnant I don't think a couple of wines will affect anything. My friend went to 8 months pregnant (with bleeding so never knew!) and she was out drinking and partying and was fine. I don't think unless you are a binge alcoholic your baby would be affected. Have some fun and enjoy life.

You're fine, have fun :) I drank 2 glasses of wine the night before I got my positive (had no idea I was pregnant) and it was so early into the pregnancy the baby wasn't pulling anything from me yet.

A few glasses before the pregnancy can even be detected should be okay. Enjoy yourself!

Fetal alcohol syndrome is not dose dependent. Which means even a half a glass can have the same effects as getting wasted. Or getiing wasted could have no effect at all. Everyone and their baby is different.
