CURE TO BV?

Amy

Can anyone help me cure my bacterial vaginitis?

I’ve come out positive all the time for 5 years now. I start with excessive itching & creamy discharge. It feel like a yeast infection but when I go to the gyno they tell me I test positive for vaginitis and they give me fluconazole to take whenever I have it but… I HAVE IT EVERYDAY.

Im sensitive down there so any advice? What can I buy to make it go away ? Any specific meds? Foods?

Use coconut oil down there. Drink natural spring water. Eat raw fruit n veggies. Whoever you sleeping with STOP. It’s about balancing your ph.

I’ve melted it and inserted using a syringe over night for about a week. It worked wonders. I also used it for an abscess tooth and it went away without antibiotics while whitening my teeth. I loveee coconut oil lol

I did not believe the coconut oil till I got a yeast infection and I need asap solution for the itching I said let me try it out and you would not believe the results I’m a firm believer In the coconut oil place it on a pad from top to bottom then put it on it works make sure it’s organic coconut oil it might stain your clothes so wear anything you don’t mind getting stained you can also freeze it and put it in like a actual yeast infection kit it up to you

Boric acid! My gyno told me to use it once a week to prevent and help it go away

Flagyl treats BV. However if you want future prevention I highly recommend using vaginal boric acid suppositories

Fluconazole is for a yeast infection. Has the doc ever prescribed antibiotics? Not sure fluconazole would do anything to help BV.

Apple cider vinegar bath! Dont put all the usual stuff in your bath like soap and all that just add the water to whatever temperature you like and put acv in the tub till it smells like the vingar and then put yourself in the tub for about 20 to 30 minutes also make sure your acv has the mother in it. I also use honey pots vag wash for when I shower. And if you choose to use boric acid cause ive noticed that was a popular suggestion please take a probiotic and prebiotic because it tends to take everything out including the good bacteria.

Look into candida overgrowth remedies, if you have yeast overgrowth internally (which sounds like you do) it will just continue to occur. Cut back on sugar you consume. Drink lots of water. Cotton undies during the day. No undies at night (let HER breathe). Dry your self really well. Use baby powder or corn starch to help with moisture control also. Azo products are really helpful for a daily management.

I had this problem for years awhile and I began to think it would never go away. But it did. For me I notice that when I ate too much sugary foods before bed I would be itchy in my sleep. So I started to be intentional about my sugar intake over all and if I ate something with sugar it would be earlier in the day. I also stopped drinking sugary drinks and soda and switched to drinking water and sparkling water. If I drink any sugary drink its in moderation. Maybe 1 glass every few days for exam. This may sound like a lot but it is so worth it to get your vagina back to its happy place. Another thing is wearing tight pants or underwear that made it worse for me. I also have tried probiotics and the boric acid method. I do believe they help. But in my experience, changing my diet and cutting back on sugar helped the most. Then if you add more healthy and fresh foods in your diet with time and consistency it will be over for that BV. Oh one more thing I had to switch to using more sensitive soap... I recommend using the sensitive honey pot wash... hope this is helpful. Let us know

Stick to white cotton panties, use sensitive bar soap like dail or dove only on the outside of your yag, loose clothes, drink at least 8-10 bottles of water a day. Using ginger, garlic or turmeric often also helps a lot.

Take probiotics!!! It doesn’t just balance bacteria in the gut, but your whole body. It’s a good start and if it doesn’t do the trick I see a bunch of other great suggestions in the comments. Best of luck!!
