At what age for your kids?

At what age did you tell your kids the Easter Bunny, Santa and Elf on the Shelf (if you do that) isn’t real? My 7 year old twins found the Easter stuff and now it’ll totally ruin in on Sunday since they’ll notice it’s the same stuff. Do I just tell them?

I’ve never had to tell them, they just figure it out. I still do all the same stuff anyway. My oldest is 21 and I still make him an Easter basket and a Christmas stocking

Don’t tell… keep playing with it. Honestly they might know already deep down. But pretending it to be real makes life more magical and interesting.

Honestly, because that's how i was raised, i never told mine any of that was real. My step sons believed in santa, but when they got suspicious i sat them down and explained the back stories behind all these different imaginary figures. When they learned some of them like santa were based on real ppl, they thought it was cool. Cause then they'd explain santa was a real person to friends and others. Lol. with my younger ones, I've never told them that's real or not, we just don't say anything.  And when my in laws say things about it they just look at them funny and go about their business.

My son knew I told him not to ruin it for his baby sister, but he hast to pretend until she’s old enough to find out herself. My cousins kids knew from the age of five

I told them once they started asking questions about if it’s real or not.

Personally we are due to our culture we don’t due the Easter bunny. But we are to tell them when they are preteens. 11-12. We plan to use the meaning and what each one represents. 
Example Santa is the feeling when you give something to someone with out getting something back. (Joy) and at the end we all become Santa. 
My kids are very young and if my husband chooses to do Easter bunny. I’m guessing it will be the miracle of the seasons. And how life/hope works. Just spit balling there.

My son is 7 & I haven’t told him yet, but I remember when I was a kid my parents never told me. I found wrapping paper in their closet & realized it was the same “Santa” had given. Then I started piecing together that the others weren’t real. I believe I was probably 10 at the time. My mom was not happy.
