Ok so I never ever ever give my card number over the phone.. except this one time!! My baby’s birthday party and I was so busy I just thought eh just this once I’ll order it through the phone delivery. I had so much going on. I called and the guy already seemed rude. Nothing crazy just a general rude attitude. I gave him my card and he said it declined. I was like that’s so weird because I know there is plenty of money on this card. I was in such a rush ordering I was just like ok here we will try another card, and then gave my credit card (which I strictly only use for groceries and a utility bill - nothing else ever except this one time!) he said it went through, i asked how long it would take, and he didn’t reply and just hung up. Ok rude! Anyway, fast forward to tongiht, within ten minutes, both cards were used fraudulently and my bank immediately locked both cards.

I’m 99.999 percent certain it was this Pizza Hut guy. Ugh I feel so stupid for giving this guy my cards.

Now, I am so angry and want to report him to his boss and let his boss know what happened, but at the same time I’m worried about retaliation as he has my name and address. People are crazy these days - what if after I speak to his manager and he gets fired or something, he gets pissed and comes to my house?

Am I overthinking it? What would you do?

UPDATE!!!! Police believe he is suspicious and believe he did it and also said the manager is suspicious and seems like they’re covering up for him! Wow. I’m so glad I reported this. I can’t imagine how many more people he has done this to. So sickening! Anyway, they need more evidence to arrest him but have conducted interviews and are working on some things to be able to arrest.
