I’m from the uk so our doctors is closed over the weekend as it’s Easter. I rang today about how I’m finishing my antibiotics for my infected caesarean scar, that I also need to be seen face to face due to a part of my scar looks like it’s opening and there’s still a smell but the other side is fine no smell but leaking this very very pale yellowish fluid. The receptionist said I’m placed on a call back list from a doctor. I’m nervous that they’re not gonna see me face to face and that I’ll have to go hospital but the waiting times vary from 7-10 hours and I’ve got two children as their dad is working nights. It’s frustrating as I’ve had this on going since the start of March, I’m very tempted to just go to a private doctor and pay to be seen which is ridiculous. What would everyone do if this was you??
