What does this mean?

Question

I’m 40 yo. No kids and my husband and I have been trying for the past 2 months. My Cycle was supposed to start on 4/1/23
It’s now 4/14 and I’m testing negative. 
Some spotting on 4/3 again on 4/7 but tests are still negative. One drop of blood in the toilet on 4/10. Slight cramps and tingles in my lower tummy but again still negative. Should I contact a doctor or wait to see if it comes?

Both 40 and been ttc for 16 months. I’ve had my period every month and spotting from a few days to at least a week before af shows up. Haven’t been to the doctor because my health insurance doesn’t cover fertility, so we would have to go out of pocket. I take it that it is hormones for me with the spotting. Possibly too little progesterone. I began taking Proov supplements for progesterone and my cycles are between 28 -32 days. I am now on day 35, so I am considered late. No spotting at all and no ewcm I usually get before af shows up. Haven’t tested because 6 months ago I had a 40 day cycle. Not pregnant then, so I’ll wait that long again to see.
