Anyone else feel like they never get any adult conversation as anyone who comes, my toddler is desperate to play and so it turns into a play session for them. Any adult conversation we try and have lasts minutes as my little one interrupts constantly and just wants us to play. A family member came over earlier and she was here for about 1.5 hours, I started to speak about my pregnancy and it lasted 2 minutes before we were interrupted and she went off to play with my little one. I’m away on maternity leave in a few days and already feeling so lonely despite being around people. Even when saying hello or bye to family members it’s always hi how are you today to my little one and bye hugs and kisses to my child and not even a bye to myself.
