JUST my palms are orange?

hi! i woke up this morning and found my palms and in between my fingers are orange. it's like a film of skin, and it rubs off slightly but not fully. it doesn't itch, im not in pain and it doesn't appear anywhere else on my body? what could this be? i contacted my doctor but it's the weekend so i doubt i'll get an answer until monday. is this urgent?

It looks like a fake tan stain?? Like putting fake tan on your body with out a glove??

Not being silly just making sure you didn't use lotion with any self tanning stuff in it. 
If you can't find an external cause, I'd honestly go to OB triage and get labs drawn.

If your pregnant it could be  choleostasis which is a prenatal liver disease especially if you have had itchy palms and feet I would get it checked out to make sure you and baby are safe

Thyroid conditions can cause your bodies ability to not process carotene into vitamin a and can build in the body and present on palms or orange soles

Do you eat alot of carrots ect? Or have you peeled any or pumpkin?.

So I will always say that it’s best to get it checked out. If you are really sure that it is nothing you ate/touched/ rubbed on I would go in. Looks a lot like ￼￼jaundice
