Dad Incapable?

Wondering if anyone has any advice for getting dad more involved. My husband works almost every day so I am the primary caregiver for our daughter. The other day I asked if I could leave her home with him for awhile to do some things and he said no, she’s too young and he isn’t comfortable. I know he is capable of caring for her but it seems like he doesn’t want to? It isn’t hard to keep a baby alive for a few hours… I do it all the time….
