2nd Trimester is a Breeze?

Did anyone else get the impression from pregnancy books that your second trimester was supposed to be easier/better than the first? My boobs *still* hurt. Been having diarrhea what seems like at least once a day for the past week or so. I almost barfed trying to empty a Crock Pot my husband took to work last night- I never liked the smell of sauerkraut but now I absolutely can't handle it without gagging.

I was 26 years old at my first pregnancy and it was a breeze from 12 weeks until birth. No pain but siatic. I could run, shovel snow, sleep well. 
This is my 2nd pregnancy and now im 38. My joint hurt, my lower back hurt, my head hurt, my round ligament cramp up at night and it kills me. But at least I don’t have food aversion, and i feel more energy during the day since week 16. But yes a lot more pain. And sleeping sucks. I get cramps at night and headaches. Keep waking up cuz im on my back. Or i stay too long on one side and my legs/hip get so nub. 
But at least there is a reward at the end 💙❤️

In my first pregnancy my 2nd tri was the ONLY relief at all during pregnancy. 1st and 3rd were awful. So far in my 2nd pregnancy 1st tri sucked just like before and (now in my 2nd tri) I continuously have diarrhea on the daily if I dont take imodium. Annnd the sciatic pain in my left buttcheek had started early. I only had it in the 3rd tri before.

My second is just as bad as the first. Still throwing up, no energy, constant back pain .. I was definitely looking forward to some relief.

I felt no pain no symptoms nothing with my previous pregnancies… I worked from before I was pregnant up until it was time to go to the hospital!  This time, since the start, my breast hurt most of the time I have ZERO energy (it’s gotten a LITTLE bit better in 2nd tri) and can’t get any sleep! I pee ALL day & all night and I’m rotating from side to back to other side ALLLLL night and the round ligament and my left leg cramps up and oh my goodness… what happened to me! 😅 I am 22 weeks and back to work, I’m just glad it’s very light duty! Hopefully I can continue to work until baby comes! 🙏🏼

I never “perked up” in my second trimester and still threw up daily with my oldest. I was working 45-55 hour weeks with him and I was so exhausted I’d come home and the second I hit the bed I was out. Id sleep until my shift the next day. I even traveled to Ohio for my moms wedding around 23 weeks and I slept so much my stepdad kept asking if I was okay and if they needed to call someone 😂. So far with this second one it’s exactly the same. I sleep as much as I can with a toddler around but I’m exhausted 24/7

My allergies have been horrible. I heard it can get worse with pregnancy. I can’t breathe, itchy, I’ve been blowing my nose all day and night for past three weeks.
