He’s mad I told my coworker

I’m having a miscarriage and I had to leave work today due to bleeding and my husband asked if I told my male coworker why I’m leaving I said yes. He says I should’ve just said I’m not feeling well. I was panicking and nervous and didn’t know what else to say to leave that instance. Was I wrong?
