CMPA? My baby has developed a rash…

Hello, my 4 week old bub has a rash that is spread on her tummy, chest and neck. She also has tiny flesh coloured pimples on her ears and around her eyes. 
She’s been really unsettled and fussy. Lots of reflux and colic symptoms too.
I phoned my GP who had given me hydrocortisone cream. I’m just a little concerned it might actually be an allergy? Has anyone had this happen before?

If the GP hasn’t seen the baby in person and decided to prescribe them over the phone, then I would absolutely be getting a second opinion first of all. If you’re really concerned and you can’t get into see your GP in person, then I would present to Emergency, because infections and skin rashes and babies need to be looked at and dealt with ASAP ￼

I’m not sure what it is, but if you haven’t already make sure baby is looked at immediately. If I were you I’d also look for a new pediatrician. I wouldn’t be comfortable with someone who dismisses my concerns about my child.

It doesn’t look like an allergy rash to me. It looks fungal to me.

Honestly looks like eczema to me. But, as the others have said, always have a doctor look at it. Sometimes things look very different in person than they do in a picture.

Get a second opinion, and call a paediatrician or a dr that specialises in baby health. If she has a fever or is struggling with breathing go to emergency.
