Pros/cons of more than one kid

I need your help.. my husband and I have been trying for a second kid for almost two years. We’ve had two miscarriages. I’m 39 and I’m trying to decide if we should even keep trying.. I’ve always wanted a big family but my husband and I seem to get stressed easier than others. For reference, my son is 6. I always wanted ti give him a playmate but even if we got pregnant right away, they would be 7 years apart and I’m not sure they’d even play together. Can you help me come up with pros/cons of having another child?

Right now I’m coming up with more cons.. yet I am not sure I’m ready to give up. I think I’m just trying to make myself feel better since I know my period is coming again. 😞😕
