Trying to conceive with PCOS

Rachael

Hi, everyone, I’m new here. I’ve been off my birth control since December and my husband agreed we could officially start trying in like February but we never took precautions after I stopped birth control anyway. I have PCOS, I was diagnosed at 13 or 14. My sisters both have it as well. I had weight loss surgery in August 2021, lost about 85 pounds at my lowest weight but I’ve gained about 40 back because I got married in October and have just generally been under a lot of stress. I had a period a few days after I stopped my birth control in December, had one in January about 38 days later. I didn’t have a period in January or February but I did have one in March and this month (April). I’ve been taking vitex berry supplements, maca root, Myo and D Chiro Inositol, Vitamin C, Zinc and I’m on a prenatal. My hormone testing all came back normal except for my testosterone which was only VERY slightly elevated. Normal range is 2-45, I was at 46. I’ve still maintained my weight loss of about 40 pounds or so, I’m 5’7” and about 243. I’ve been testing my ovulation, having sex when they look positive. I just don’t know what I’m not pregnant yet. I was on birth control for my pcos from 13/14-23 (how old I am now) and I’ve been getting off certain medications such as lithium and things like that that are unsafe for pregnancy. I’ve switched a lot of things but I don’t know if it’s stress or what. Please help. I’m stressing and I don’t know how to stop that either.
