blood test accuracy
so i went to my dr yesterday and they did a blood test for pregnancy that came back <1 miU/mL aka negative. but yesterday i was only 8 dpo, and i believe (if i was pregnant) that implantation happened the 25th. upon googling i found that 8 dpo its pretty normal to be too early for any hcg levels to be <1, that typically 10 dpo or 3/4 days after implantation, hcg levels will have risen enough to be detected. what’s the chances that it truly was too early and I could still end up finding out i’m pregnant? i took a home urine test this morning (9 dpo, 3 days after implantation) and it was completely negative. in my last pregnancies the earliest i saw a faint line was 10 dpo so i know it’s too early for that to be completely accurate. has anyone else had a similar experience of getting a blood test too early then later getting their bfp?
