Baby disappeared?!

I am 9 weeks and have had 2 ultra sounds where I was able to see the baby and heart beat (one at 6 weeks and one at 7 weeks). Today my dr was not able to find the baby via ultra sound nor was able to hear a heart beat and she said it could be because I have a tilted uterus. She also has an older machine than what was used the first two times. Has this ever happened to anyone? Fearing I lost the baby?!

Update: I insisted on another scan at a better facility (radiology at the hospital) and everything looks great! My dr gave me a hard time and wanted me to wait until Monday for a new ultrasound after also telling me the yolk sac looked off. So I'm on the hunt for a new Dr!

Unless you've bled or something I really doubt a baby could just disappear...I'm not a medical professional but that seems odd. she needs to do another ultrasound with better equipment.

I've heard of them having trouble finding the heart beat with a tilted uterus (I have one too) but never not finding the baby. Especially if they do a transvaginal ultrasound. I hope all turns out well.

They've had trouble finding mine w crappy ultrasound both transvaginal and abdominal. I have a tilted uterus and an 11cm cyst on my ovary which someone makes it harder to find baby . The first time they couldn't find I was convinced I had a blighted ovum, but that afternoon they found baby using better ultrasound at hospital.
Did they schedule you for a follow up ultrasound somewhere w better equipment? I would push for that.
