newborn congested

my baby is 4 weeks tomorrow and i’ve noticed her little nose sounds a little congested.. today when she woke up I attempted to suction out her nose and some yellow gunk came out of both nostrils along with looked like some boogers in them.. she has a appointment with her pedi tuesday. does this sound like an infection? we don’t go anywhere and if I have to she has a car seat cover and no one has really visited her yet.
