Pospartum is tough. The first 3 months are a blur for me. But it does get better after the fourth trimester. Maybe you could pump every now and then and have your partner help.wuth the night feeds.

Your milk is still probably coming in, hang in there, it will come. Baby doesn’t need much the first few days. Just keep latching when baby is hungry :) Be careful pumping as it can cause an over supply of milk which you don’t want.

Yeah. Well, I pumped the first 3 months because baby wouldn't latch. He's 15 months now and still breastfed.I agree, she does need to pump when baby gets the bottle but he'd most likely have a bottle every 3h not every hour as it sometimes happen with breastfed babies. Anyway, it was just a suggestion. :).

I agree with Lauren, try to nap when baby does. I was exhausted postpartum as I did it 90% alone for the first 6 days after my C-section and resting while baby slept helped me, even though it was hard to fall asleep, it got better. When you’re laying down to sleep, try not to scroll through your phone first. I’d scroll quick before sleep but it would just distract me from sleeping and then I’d be even more tired and had a hard time falling asleep. I really had to focus on sleeping as I was worried about baby. I kept him in his bassinet right beside my head, I slept on the couch because I couldn’t get in to bed (it was too high). You got this mama!

You can try putting on some calming music or white noise for yourself too! I found they helped me, but I love listening to music when I sleep, not every one does. Do you have help? If you do your partner (or whoever it is) could watch baby so you could sleep for a few hours between feeds. I also found that made it easier for me to sleep as I knew someone was watching the baby. It’s all so intimidating and breastfeeding takes a lot of work, but it does become easier.

Try to nap when the baby naps throughout the day. It gets easier. They start sleeping longer and longer. But it's exhausting at first
