Absent mother now wants to be in baby’s life

Little back story. Mother was verbally and mentally abusive growing up. Spent most of my life at my grandparents. Then moved out at 12 to a group home for family reasons. Since then it has been very little contact. I tried to have a relationship with her as it was important to my fiancé to have family involved. When we announce our pregnancy she was intoxicated, high and bawling her eyes out…side note: she always said she could live her whole life and never want grandchildren. So I was not expecting this reaction.

a few weeks later we had a miscarriage. She stated “well maybe you shouldn’t be having kids then, just go back on BC and it won’t be a problem “

My fiancé and I agreed that she in-fact was toxic and to go no contact.

Just to now 1 year later : currently 6 mos pregnant and tells my brother “well tell her that I deserve to at least be in the baby’s life the first few years then the baby can decide “

I’m honestly really pissed off that she thinks she deserves to be in our baby’s life when she hasn’t been in mine all these years.
