Dilation and effacement
I am 1cm dilated and 80% effaced. I am 33 weeks today, and at risk for preterm labor due to my unicornate uterus. My first son was born at 34+6. The dilation doesn’t scare me but being so effaced already does. Does anyone have any words of wisdom for me as far as time frame maybe? She said my cervix still felt firm and the couldn’t stretch it if she had even tried but I am 1cm dilate and 80% effaced.
