Early ultrasounds

I’m curious to see how this averages out. I’ve had four pregnancies with four different providers and none of them have done early ultrasounds. I was always told it’s not best practice unless there’s a reason for it as the safety for ultrasounds has not been established and it doesn’t really give any useful information. I could assume that this is for uncomplicated pregnancies where are you know your last menstrual cycle with regular. Etc. etc. I keep seeing posts on here with women having ultrasounds around six weeks asking if their normal or not having to go back in and have their hormones tested. My providers always said that if there’s a miscarriage going to happen there’s nothing they can do anyway and the hCG is usually unique to the woman as far as how the numbers are so doesn’t matter as long as they’re going up. Are there cases where early ultrasounds and having your hCG checked has prevented a miscarriage? Just generally curious as this hasn’t been my experience.
