1 cm dilated!

OK so when I went for my check up two wks ago which I was 32+5 I was 1 cm dilated so my ob she put me on bed rest until I turn 34 weeks which is tomorrow!(new years eve) And stated if I have my son @34weeks or afterwards everything would be find. OK I get that. But I really hope I don't dilate anymore until at 36 weeks then I'll know I reach the last stage(9months) so how long you guys think if I'm already 1 cm dilated I will go into active labor??, because I DONT want to go in labor no time soon, at least if I go in at 36 weeks then I'll feel much better better.
