How long should I let my husband keep this up before I just call someone to fix our washing machine?

A washing machine stopped walking a week ago. My husband and I were talking about someone to call in to fix it. He said he could fix it and I asked what does he know about fixing a washing machine? He was like "You can learn anything on YouTube now a days." I said "You don't even do laundry. How are you gonna fix it if you've never seen the machine for more than three seconds." Well that was a mistake. He would have probably let it go had I not said that and he said "Oh so you don't think I can do it! We'll see!" And he's been spending almost a week trying to fix it and failing. Last night I was nursing the baby and heard him get frustrated and yell "I AM YOUR FATHER! YOU WILL OBEY ME AND FIX!!!" Then he started screaming and I went to ask was everything okay and he said "Everything is fine!" But then there's water coming from the laundry room door. How long should I let this go on.

He did try to fix it for a whole week so be nice to him, just be like "Babe, I really appreciate you trying to fix it, but at this point I think it's something only a professional can fix. I have a ton of laundry and I think it's time to call someone in."

Call the repair tech.  I get wanting to fix it himself and proving that he can but he must accept defeat!  He is not the father of the washing machine! 😂😂. Meanwhile you’ll go crazy seeing all the laundry that needs to be done!  Get that machine fixed!!

I would tell him enough is enough and let him know you're gonna call someone to fix it because you can't deal with his yelling at a washing machine and you haven't been able to wash clothes for a week now and it can't wait any longer.

Ok I'm sorry that's hilarious 😂. Have you tried to help him out of curiosity? Me and my husband are cheap AF and never call to people to fix things. Usually it me finding the correct YouTube videos but not really understanding it and my husband fixes it lol. He has saved us hundreds fixing our dishwasher, dryer, garage door, everything lol. Just recommending the help for his ego 😂😂😂 but I couldn't last a week without a washer so maybe talk to him and see if calling someone would be the faster option
