Potentially having an affair??

Question

Occasionally my husband skips the gym ONLY on days he’s concerned about his outfit
 Some days he just wears whatever to work
 Tho there are certain days I’ve noticed the night before he’s picking out an outfit and asking does this go with this
 If I say yes it looks great
 He dwells on it and will be like idk if blue goes well with black pants than he spends hours on perfecting the perfect outfit
 Next day he skips the gym despite always complaining he hates skipping the gym
 He’s recently accused me of having an affair and I’m not I’m loyal I like 1 person
 Now his job is very causal he can wear whatever he wants
Like it’s been 3 weeks since he’s done this and tonight he was like yeah not gonna go in tomorrow you wanna help me choose my outfit for work
I was like 🤔 ok we are back to this again 
 Is it potential he’s having one or thinking of having one????

It definitely makes it more suspicious when you mention that he’s accused you of having an affair. People tend to project their own actions onto their partner when they are doing something wrong. I would be very suspicious.

It really depends. Maybe you need to ask him what’s up with his obsession over his clothes. I had a coworker who’s color blind. I complimented him on how he coordinated his outfits, he told me he had to ask his wife for help because he’s color blind. He said he would be really embarrassed if his outfit doesn’t match. He asked me if he ever worn mismatched outfits, I told him no that his outfit was always on point. He also said he felt better that someone complimented on his outfit, because now he knows he can trust his wife to coordinate his outfits.

It’s suspicious because he accused you, normally they say if someone accuses you there doing it or thinking about doing it. 
However not always the case, maybe he just cares about his appearance ? I really don’t know it depends on him tbh

If this is a sudden thing that’s constantly happening I’d be having words. Why does he suddenly care about what he is wearing?

If he didn't accuse you I wouldn't think anything of it but seems suspicious. My husband asks me all the time to do an outfit check before he goes out. I never suspect anything but it's not a new behavior. Any new behaviour doesn't mean automatically cheating but should be questioned and I'd be weary. Perhaps do a visit to his work place?
