Membrane Sweep?

Im getting my membranes stripped tomorrow and was wondering if any of you have, and if so how did it go? and did it help? And was it painful? Did you bleed?

Had mine swept yesterday about 4:45 pm....so far nothing. 38+4, 2-3cm and 80%effaced. I've tried walking, pumping, sex, bouncing on my ball, mineral oil (I'm constipated also so kill 2 birds with 1 stone, or so I thought). I've been trying so much but no luck. Being induced Tuesday :/

I had mine with my second , I was 39 weeks. I went into labor 3 days later (which was the intention ) he ended up Being born on his big brothers birthday. It was kinda painful after I left the doc but, went away later that evening. Good luck.

I had it done with my second baby at 37 weeks. It hurt and I had pains afterwards. But it unfortunately didn't help me. I ended up in labor at 39 weeks.

They did this to me when I was pregnant with my daughter. It helped a lot but t is painful and yes I bled alittle. They did it to me three times towards the end. Got me to 5cm dilated.
